Epe fietst voor water 2019 › Indrukwekkend

Van Epe naar Schiphol. Van Schiphol naar Dubai. Van Dubai naar Nairobi. Van Nairobi naar een piepklein, pittoresk dorpje genaamd Kirinyaga. De reis was lang en vermoeiend (ruim 27 uur) maar de plek van bestemming bleek ronduit indrukwekkend.

Het laatste deel vanaf het vliegveld werd gelukkig geregeld door African Horizons Travel & Safari. In enkele jeeps toerden we richting onze slaapplek. De laatste drie kwartier door het pikkedonker richting onze slaapplek. Na een overheerlijk diner kropen we snel de tent in om te genieten van een lekkere nachtrust…

PS. Held van de eerste dag van onze (nu al geweldige) reis? Dat is Rinaldo Wolff. Zonder hem waren onze fietsen, en wij dus ook, hier helemaal niet aangekomen…
